2016 Hitter & Setter Workshop

All attacking. All setting. In the first half of this workshop hitters and setters will work separately on their respective skills. In the second half, we will combine hitters and setters for an opportunity to apply what they’ve learned.

Hitters - basic to advanced techniques will be covered:

• Approach and armswing
• In system & out of system attacking
• Tips, roll-shots, using the block, and hitting angles
• Various types of sets and tempos

Setters – basic to advanced techniques will be covered:

• Footwork & hands technique
• Various types of sets and tempos
• Setting strategy (who to set and when)
• Setting “bad” passes
• Setter attacks

Workshops are open to all entrants in grades 7^th-12^th
